The present research investigates the relationship between the implementation of active methodologies and the development of digital competencies essential for contemporary teaching. The debate centers on the need for teachers to master Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICTs) to promote more engaging teaching aligned with the challenges of today's society. Through a qualitative approach based on a bibliographic survey, strategies such as gamification, the use of online quizzes, and the development of serious games are analyzed as disruptive pedagogical tools. The results indicate that technological integration favors not only the academic performance of students but also the construction of inclusive and interprofessional education. The investigation highlights that the success of these practices depends on continuous teacher training and the ability to articulate playful resources with established curricular objectives. The reflections offered seek to subsidize the strengthening of innovative proposals that transform the classroom into a space for active and meaningful learning for all student profiles.
