This study aimed to analyze the potential of podcasts as a multimedia resource for learning. As specific objectives, it sought to investigate the main strategies for using podcasts in educational contexts and to identify the benefits of implementing this tool in the teaching-learning process. To this end, a qualitative bibliographic research methodology was employed, involving the analysis of recent academic production on the subject, including scientific articles, dissertations, and specialized books. The results showed that podcasts are a versatile and inclusive resource, capable of promoting autonomous learning, stimulating student engagement, and meeting different educational needs, such as those of students with visual impairments. Furthermore, their effectiveness in personalizing teaching, expanding access to knowledge, and developing cognitive and communicative skills was highlighted. It is concluded that podcasts, when integrated in a planned manner into pedagogical practices, can significantly enhance the educational process, making it more dynamic, accessible, and aligned with contemporary demands. Therefore, the adoption of this tool at different levels of education is recommended, provided that it is accompanied by appropriate didactic strategies and accessibility resources.
