The research, which aims to be developed through a literature review, has as its main objective to investigate the possible origins of the processes of changes in the social behavior of military police officers in the State of Amazonas. This is because this segment of society is occupied daily with confronting circumstances that can gradually alter the psychological condition of these officers, leading to psycho-emotional illness that may end in suicide. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an understanding of the causes, origins, and effects of psychosocial disorders that affect all those involved in public security, seeking to conceive, at the end of the research, possible interventions in this process of individual illness so that the onset of any psychological illness in public security officers can be identified prematurely, making the healing process faster and with positive results in protecting the lives of security officers.
