This article analyzes the consolidation process of the Comando Vermelho (CV) criminal faction in the state of Amazonas, investigating the governance and territorial control strategies adopted to ensure hegemony in the region. The methodology used is qualitative and bibliographic research, based on the discourse analysis of contemporary scientific production on the subject. The study examines how the selected authors construct the narrative of the historical rupture with the Família do Norte (FDN) and interpret the implementation of an organizational model analogous to "franchises". The results indicate that the academic and public security discourse refutes the idea of criminal chaos, pointing to a network governance that instrumentalizes violence and co-opts local groups. It is concluded that the discourse on the CV's actions reveals an "ecosystem of illegalities" that transcends drug trafficking, imposing severe vulnerabilities on Amazonian populations.
