This study aims to present the process of developing technical educational material, created by Civil Engineering students as a teaching-learning strategy focused on identifying the primary chemical risks in construction. The material provides guidance on the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), the safe storage of substances, and first aid procedures in cases of exposure. The methodology involved theoretical research based on Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Regulatory Standards (NRs), classroom guidance, the creation of a technical manual and an educational primer, and a technical visit to a construction site for the practical application of the developed material. During this stage, students presented the manual to workers, observed real working conditions, and provided direct safety guidance. The results highlighted the successful development of the educational material by the students, as well as the importance of hands-on experience in consolidating learning. It is concluded that the production and application of educational materials at construction sites strengthen the culture of prevention, promote integration between the university and the community, and contribute significantly to the technical and social development of future civil engineers.
