This study is justified by the need to prepare school faculty to achieve a higher level of convergence between Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the educational environment, as a pressing response to current gaps in the teaching and learning process. In the scientific community, there is a lack of comprehensive research on how EI and AI, once converged, can be used to improve the educational process. Little is explored about how these two dimensions can complement each other to create more balanced and productive educational ecosystems. Therefore, the objective of this study is to develop a method that integrates principles and elements of EI and AI to improve pedagogical practices, stimulate emotional competence, and improve academic performance in high schools in Jaraguá do Sul – SC – Brazil. The resource proposed here is called the Creative Experiential Method of Convergence between EI and AI (MCEC). This study adopts a mixed-methods methodology, predominantly qualitative, of an exploratory-explanatory nature, grounded in the understanding of complex educational phenomena involving emotional and technological dimensions. These approaches correspond to the need for a methodological resource capable of preparing and guiding teachers on the potential convergence of these two dimensions of intelligence in the school environment. It is expected that the proposed method will, among other contributions, improve the teaching and learning process in its new paradigm, as well as inspire educational policies and future research on EI-AI convergence.
