Currently, the development of new methodologies and pedagogical practices has contributed to the promotion of a more dynamic education focused on the development of student autonomy and protagonism, essential points for contemporary life. Therefore, this study aims to discuss the introduction of Maker Culture in Basic Education. It sought to answer the following question: how can Maker Culture be introduced into Basic Education? To this end, bibliographic research was carried out based on the search, selection, and interpretation of studies that discuss this theme, especially those in the form of scientific articles and works published in conference proceedings. This research was guided by the fundamentals of Antonio Carlos Gil in How to Elaborate Research Projects, a work published in 2002. The results indicate that introducing Maker Culture into Basic Education, materialized in Maker Education, can not only maximize learning but also broaden teachers' repertoire. For this to happen, ongoing professional development processes are essential.
