Autism Spectrum Disorder is defined as a syndrome comprised of chronic difficulties in social interaction and communication, associated with restriction and repetition of behaviors, interests, and achievements, with a wide range of contexts. The research was structured using the PRISMA protocol for systematic literature review, utilizing the PUBMED and Lilacs databases, through indexed descriptors and Boolean operators. Initially, 364 articles were selected, followed by selection based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, such as the time frame from 2024 to 2026. It was demonstrated that the integration between new technologies with diagnostic capacity, scientific rigor through evidence-based medicine, active participation of the family nucleus, and advances in biomarkers presents a great impetus in the approach to ASD, with encouraging preliminary results. However, more studies should be conducted on the safety of exposing children to these new therapies and diagnostic models. The science expressed in the approach to ASD is moving towards personalized therapeutic strategies based on evidence-based medicine.
