Abstract

This study aims to discuss the introduction of active methodologies in teaching and learning processes, specifically focusing on the potential of these resources and the challenges faced by teachers throughout their implementation in the classroom. In the development of this study, the following question was addressed: what are the potential benefits of using active methodologies in teaching and learning processes, and what challenges do teachers face? Regarding the methodology, a bibliographic review was used, which guided the process of identifying, collecting, reading, and selecting different texts related to the subject. For this, a range of digital databases, such as academic journals and institutional repositories, was consulted. As for the results, it can be stated that the use of active methodologies represents a significant milestone in the development of student-centered educational strategies. When combined with digital technologies, active methodologies contribute to skill-building, supporting an integral perspective of education.
