This paper is configured as an experience report developed within the scope of the teaching internship of the Graduate Program in Education (PPGED) at the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS), carried out in the course Health, Society, and Physical Education (PE), a mandatory curricular component of the undergraduate Physical Education program. The pedagogical experience aimed to evaluate the process of media production (short films), taking into account the sociocultural phenomena that permeate the field of health and how this transversal theme relates to Physical Education. The methodological pathway was constructed based on the development of an experience report (Mussi; Flores; Almeida, 2021) and on the assumptions of media education (Belloni, 2005; Fantin, 2006). Within the curricular planning, there was the participation of guest speakers, the screening of documentaries, as well as synchronous meetings held via Google Meet. Finally, after the evaluative process, it was observed that students demonstrated considerable analytical understanding when addressing health, society, and the media.
