Abstract

This article adopts a theoretical and dogmatic approach to the principle of human dignity, highlighting its centrality within the contemporary legal order and its structuring role in the Democratic State governed by the rule of law. It then examines the context of the Judiciary’s digital transformation, with emphasis on artificial intelligence governance and the progressive incorporation of algorithmic solutions into judicial activities. Based on bibliographic and documentary research, the study presents, in a systematic framework, the main ethical guidelines established in international instruments concerning the use of artificial intelligence in justice systems. Drawing on this framework and employing the deductive method, a conformity analysis is conducted between these guidelines and the normative content of CNJ Resolution No. 615/2025, with the aim of assessing its capacity to preserve the constitutional principle and fundamental right to human dignity. The article concludes that the resolution substantially incorporates the main international ethical parameters for the responsible use of artificial intelligence in the judicial service, revealing significant normative potential to safeguard the human dignity of litigants, provided that its provisions are effectively observed and implemented in institutional practice.
