The school plays an essential role in the development of a society: the formation of intellectual beings capable of establishing social changes. It is an environment for building skills, opportunities, interests and knowledge. In this sense, it is essential to guarantee a productive, balanced and continuous educational management. Therefore, this work discusses the importance of inserting the PDCA Cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act), also known as the Deming cycle, at the base of the educational process. The applied methodology was the bibliographic review, from books, articles, magazines, theses, critical analyzes and dissertations based on the concepts, fundamentals and results of the aforementioned tool. It was noted that the effects of implementing the PDCA Cycle contributed to the effectiveness of the entire school system, ensuring the implementation of idealized strategies and achieving success in the defined objectives. Due to its broad approach and used in several sectors, its application in education has proven to be effective in improving educational methods, managing results and making assertive decisions.
