Abstract

This study analyzes the publications of the last three editions of the Bahian Meeting on Mathematics Education (2021, 2023, and 2025), aiming to understand how antiracist pedagogical practices have been incorporated into Mathematics teaching. This is a documentary research with a qualitative approach, which examines the works presented at these events in light of educational policies focused on Ethnic-Racial Relations Education. The results show a progressive increase in the number of studies dedicated to the topic, as well as the theoretical and methodological maturation of the discussions, especially in the most recent editions. The analyses indicate the appreciation of Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous knowledge, the questioning of curricular eurocentrism, and the strengthening of decolonial and ethnomathematical perspectives that recognize Mathematics as culturally situated knowledge. It is concluded that the Bahian Meeting on Mathematics Education has consolidated itself as a strategic space for debate, production, and circulation of pedagogical practices committed to racial justice and the transformation of Mathematics Education.
