Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is frequently accompanied by comorbidities that directly impact the development, learning, and quality of life of individuals. Among these, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) stands out as one of the most prevalent, presenting challenges in diagnostic differentiation and the implementation of effective interventions. This study aims to analyze the association between ASD and ADHD, as well as to evaluate the impact of practical activities focused on the development of executive functions in a 20-year-old woman with a dual diagnosis. The methodology included a qualitative approach with the application of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) focused on self-care, organization, and motor coordination, carried out in a home environment. The results indicated significant progress in the execution of tasks such as hair care and tying shoelaces, although closet organization required a longer period of intervention. The discussion highlights that, according to Lipsker et al. (2018), ADHD and ASD may share neural dysfunctions, with symptoms related to deficits in executive functions, while Larroca & Domingos (2012) emphasize that the primary difference lies in social functioning. It is concluded that personalized interventions and facilitating environments contribute to the autonomy and self-esteem of individuals with ASD/ADHD, with the participation of the care network being fundamental.
