Abstract

This article addresses innovative strategies for developing teaching competencies, with an emphasis on methodological training aimed at supporting students with learning difficulties. The study aims to analyze the importance of continuing education and innovative pedagogical practices for promoting inclusive and quality education. Methodologically, the research is characterized as qualitative, of a bibliographic nature, based on the analysis of books, scientific articles, and academic productions by authors recognized in the field of education. The results show that the development of teaching competencies is directly related to the improvement of the teaching-learning process, highlighting the relevance of active methodologies, pedagogical mediation, and the conscious use of educational technologies. The discussion of the data demonstrates that methodologically trained teachers show greater confidence, flexibility, and autonomy in conducting pedagogical practices, favoring the inclusion of students with learning difficulties. It is concluded that investment in ongoing teacher training is an essential element for the implementation of more equitable, reflective educational practices committed to the holistic development of students.
