This article aims to analyze the presence and integration of Environmental Education (EE) in the Political-Pedagogical Projects (PPPs) of municipal schools and Early Childhood Education Centers (CMEIs) in the municipalities of Nova Santa Rosa and Quatro Pontes, located in the western region of Paraná, Brazil. It seeks to determine whether the EE discipline is formally included, how it is implemented in the educational context, and which classes and students are covered. The research is qualitative and descriptive in nature, using semi-structured interviews conducted with pedagogical coordinators and school principals. The results indicate that, in Nova Santa Rosa, Environmental Education is more institutionalized, especially at Leonhard Pinz Municipal School, which offers the subject regularly and develops projects focused on sustainability. In Quatro Pontes, although EE is included in the PPP as a cross-cutting theme, its practical implementation occurs sporadically and lacks systematic planning and permanent projects. It is concluded that the consolidation of Environmental Education in both municipalities depends on strengthening teacher training and improving coordination between educational policies and school practices.
