Abstract

This study explores the relationship between public policy and educational policy, focusing on the effectiveness of these policies within the Brazilian educational context. The central problem statement of the study raises the following question: how can educational policies be ensured to effectively meet social demands and contribute to the formation of a more equitable and inclusive society? The general objective is to analyze how public policies, in the field of education, have contributed to improving the quality of teaching in the country. Using a qualitative exploratory approach, the study is based on bibliographic research to identify and discuss the main challenges and advances in the implementation of these policies, with special attention to issues of equity, inclusion, and educational quality.
