EDUCATION AND COMPLIANCE: STRATEGIES FOR BUILDING A CULTURE OF ETHICS AND INTEGRITY IN BRAZILIAN SCHOOLS

This digital book presents, as a general objective, how compliance principles and institutes can be inserted in the high school curriculum, in order to strengthen the teaching of ethics to these students. For the elaboration of an answer to this question, the sections - specific objectives - were elaborated as follows: whether to explain ethics in several of its formats, going through Greek ethics; ethical aspects in contemporary times ethical aspects in contemporary times and ethics and education; ethics as a discipline for high school students; principles and institutes linked to compliance and accountability in the area of school management; and, finally, exposure of the adequacy of the insertion of compliance content to the BNCC rules and control of democratic management. The research design observed the hypothetical-deductive method, through bibliographic research. Literature review was essential with authors such as Goedert (2016), Libâneo (2001; 2007), Valls (1994); in addition to Brazilian legislation, such as Brazil (1988; 1996; 2012; 2014). As an answer to the hypothesis that if compliance principles and institutes can be inserted in the high school curriculum, in order to strengthen the teaching of ethics to these students, the answer proves to be positive, with the following guidelines: citizenship content, with compliance principles, through the transversal ethics theme, for high school students must obey some formalities, namely: Presentation aiming at the development of pedagogical techniques based on competences and skills; observation of the common national curriculum for high school in the area of applied human and social sciences; definition of the content itself and presentation methodology; crossing of the content to be passed on to the transversal themes proposed by the PCN to the area of Ethics; fit its contents to the BNCC training itineraries.
