THE FORMATION OF THE ENTERED APPRENTICE DEGREE: A QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE PERCEPTION OF FREEMASONS IN A LODGE IN THE HINTERLAND OF PERNAMBUCO

This study quantitatively analyzed the perception of Freemasons regarding the formative process of the Entered Apprentice degree in a lodge located in the countryside of Pernambuco, Brazil. This descriptive-exploratory quantitative study used an online questionnaire with closed-ended Likert-scale questions, administered via Google Forms to 22 participants. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed high agreement regarding the clarity of symbolism, reinforcement of ethical and moral values, and positive influence of the Entered Apprentice degree on personal, social, and professional life. It is concluded that the Entered Apprentice degree plays a structuring role in initial Masonic formation.
