This research was carried out, addressing as a theme the Lúdico in Early Childhood Education: an effective alternative in the teaching-learning process, whose main objective is to analyze the efficiency of playfulness for the teaching-learning process in Early Childhood Education. The main objectives of this study were to discuss the main challenges that compromise the adequate functionality of the teaching-learning process, as well as to identify the participation of the playful as a facilitator of the Early Childhood learning and its impacts on the life of the student. In this expectation, we sought theoretical bases for the realization of the same. It was possible to take into account the power that the playful presents to stimulate the theoretical learning through practice, that is, to learn, really, doing, building and not merely imagining what is heard. At the end, the main considerations about the most relevant aspects acquired during the research are established.
