Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a strategic tool capable of transforming the management processes of micro and small businesses, enhancing their competitiveness in dynamic markets. This article discusses, through a literature review and qualitative analysis, how AI can optimize key areas such as inventory management, finance, digital marketing, customer service, and decision-making in small enterprises. Findings indicate that AI implementation reduces operational costs, increases productivity, minimizes waste, and improves service personalization. Challenges such as initial investment, training, and ethical concerns regarding data use are examined. It is concluded that AI democratizes access to innovation, becoming an essential ally for the sustainability of small businesses.
