The health crisis caused by Covid-19, starting in 2020, brought about substantial and transformative changes in various areas of society, including education, work, and social interactions. Among the most visible and lasting changes is the acceleration of technological advancements, particularly regarding the digitization of processes, online education, remote work, and digital transformation in companies and organizations. The adoption of digital technologies as an essential resource for teaching and learning was accelerated.Out of this urgent need, new pedagogical practices mediated by technology emerged, many of which remain part of the current school routine. This article aims to analyze the challenges faced by teachers and students when remote education was the only option to continue teaching. For this purpose, four teachers from different fields were invited to reflect on their perceptions of this relevant topic, analyzing its influence on the democratization of access, the uniqueness of teaching, and the integration between face-to-face and remote education, highlighting the main challenges, difficulties, and important contributions regarding digital inclusion in the educational context.
