Abstract

This article reflects on the advancements in educational methods, focusing on distance learning, which continued even after the pandemic that impacted everyone's routines in the country. A bibliographical research was conducted on the main theme, drawing on concepts from various authors such as Gonzáles (2005), Maia and Matar (2007), and Alves (2009), among others who provide relevant information on distance education. The overall objective of this article is to demonstrate the evolution of distance education with each generation. The results will show that distance education, combined with the ever-evolving technology available, points to the certainty that increasingly sophisticated and practical resources will emerge to facilitate practical and flexible education, benefiting both students and teachers, who will be the beneficiaries of the evolution presented in this article.
