Domestic violence against women constitutes one of the main public security challenges in the state of Pará, requiring quick, technical and humanized responses from the Military Police. Given this scenario, this article aimed to analyze the role of the Military Police of Pará in responding to incidents involving women victims of domestic violence. To achieve this, we adopted a qualitative and descriptive methodology, based on a bibliographical review and documentary analysis of legislation, ordinances, institutional reports and scientific studies produced between 2015 and 2025. The results showed that PMPA's actions are essential for interrupting the cycle of violence, preventing feminicide, monitoring protective measures and strengthening the support network. Significant challenges were also identified, such as structural limitations, aggressor resistance, travel difficulties and the need for ongoing staff training. It was concluded that strengthening preventive actions, improving operational protocols and expanding specialized rounds are essential strategies to consolidate the protection of women and improve the service provided by the corporation.
