This paper aims to analyze appropriate techniques for obtaining accounts from child victims of sexual violence. The research addresses human dignity and sexual crimes. It identifies sexual crime as one of those that most affect intimacy and human dignity. Subsequently, it presents the nature of constitutional principles, analyzing human dignity, the analysis of special testimony, and appropriate techniques for conducting interviews. It conceptualizes sexual abuse and sexual violence in order to provide a better understanding of the proposed theme by the reader, observing the diversity of concepts based on various criteria. The methodology used throughout the work will be a bibliographic review of studies on criminal law and criminal procedure law of a qualitative nature. It concludes that by interviewing a child using the appropriate technique, the child can contribute to the investigation process, providing correct and relevant information in their testimony.
