Education in the first decades of the 21st century is undergoing structural transformations resulting from the advancement of digital technologies, the reconfiguration of communication ecosystems, and the emergence of new forms of social interaction. These changes profoundly impact reading, writing, research, knowledge dissemination, and teaching and learning methods. Since the 20th century, researchers have highlighted that technological evolution is not only material but also cultural, social, and cognitive, influencing the ways in which individuals construct knowledge, communicate, and participate in collective life. What we observe is a significant historical transition: from a culture centered on print to a hyper-connected, multimodal digital culture characterized by informational ubiquity.
