The general objective of this article is to identify technological advances in digital communication in the judicial proceedings. The methodology consisted of a literature review, focusing on the analysis and interpretation of scientific articles and legislation. The choice of this literature review on digital communication in legal proceedings is justified by the importance of assessing whether digitl communication methods guarantee due process, full defense and adversarial proceedings, and of impoving legislation to promote the modernization of the Judiciary and ensure that technology serves justice equitably and securely. With technological advancements in the Judiciary, the use of the electronic Judicial Domicile, The National Electronic Justice Gazette, and the increased ose of e-mail and the WhasApp application were included as digital communication. This regulation of digital communications is essencial to ensure the fundamental rights of all citizens in the judicial service. Furthermore, the Judiciary must also be aware of the challenges of digital exclusion to ensure that technological innovations do jot create barriers to acess for all individuals.
