The article presents the results of a virtual exchange project conducted between 2022 and 2023 as part of the Global Learning Experience (GLE) program. This initiative involved a collaboration between DePaul University in Chicago, USA, and Centro Universitário Barão de Mauá in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil. The authors discuss the outcomes of fostering intercultural dialogues on social justice, race, and racism in both countries. The courses explored concepts such as ethnicity, multiculturalism, prejudice, and structural violence, employing methodologies and activities that included analyzing music, film, and engaging in critical discussions. Despite navigating logistical and linguistic challenges, the project underscored substantial advancements in intercultural understanding and participants' communication skills, showcasing the transformative potential of virtual exchange in global education.
