This article aimed to conduct a case study of a dairy industry in Rondônia, Brazil, where data on good practices in milk production, transportation, and storage were collected, as well as the financial impact of milk quality on factory yield. An on-site survey of information from the Self-Control Plan (PAC) was conducted for the periods of 2019 to 2025, comparing the months of January (rainy season) and September (dry season) of each year. Information on milk volume, total bacterial count (TBC), mozzarella cheese yield, and average wholesale cheese sales value was collected. This study evaluates the impact of milk quality loss on the production process and its impact on the industry's financial health. The main objective is to draw managers' attention to the importance of establishing a raw material control and management program to produce with quality and efficiency, making the industry more competitive and ensuring that milk suppliers are supported by a management and functional qualification program, establishing a win-win relationship in the state's milk production chain.
