Shoulder Impingement Syndrome (SIS) is a common cause of pain and dysfunction in volleyball athletes, resulting from repetitive overhead movements that overload the rotator cuff and glenohumeral joint. This study analyzed the effectiveness of physiotherapeutic interventions in the rehabilitation and prevention of SIS, identifying the main protocols and their outcomes. The integrative review, based on ten studies from PubMed, SciELO, PEDro, and Google Scholar databases (2010–2025), showed that protocols involving resisted exercises, scapular stabilization, stretching, and manual therapy reduce pain by up to 78% and improve function by up to 70%. It is concluded that physiotherapy is effective in the recovery, prevention, and performance improvement of athletes affected by SIS.
