Abstract

This article presents the architectural design of a Military Police base with a helipad, located in the municipality of Iporã, Paraná, a region of significant geostrategic relevance near the border with Paraguay. The proposal aims to integrate criteria of functionality, institutional security, accessibility, and tactical mobility, providing a physical structure aligned with the contemporary operational demands of public security forces. The project was developed based on technical standards from ANAC (RBAC 155) and ABNT (NBR 15818, NBR 9050, among others), as well as operational and doctrinal guidelines of the police corporation. The base is divided into administrative, operational, support, and helipad areas, following principles of safe circulation and access control. The implementation of the helipad seeks to enhance rapid response capabilities in critical situations, such as operations against organized crime, troop transportation, and rescues in hard-to-reach areas. The study also analyzes best practices from other national and international bases, demonstrating how architecture can serve as a strategic instrument to support police activities. The proposal contributes to strengthening public security infrastructure and may serve as a replicable model for municipalities facing similar territorial and logistical challenges.
