Menopause represents a significant stage in a woman's life, marked by the permanent cessation of menstrual cycles and accompanied by hormonal changes that profoundly impact physical and emotional well-being. This study aims to analyze the contribution of nutritional therapy to promoting health and quality of life in women during this phase. It is a qualitative bibliographic review based on scientific publications from the past ten years, retrieved from well-established databases such as PubMed, SciELO, LILACS, MEDLINE, and Google Scholar. The descriptors used included “menopause,” “nutritional therapy,” “quality of life,” and “women’s health.” The findings suggest that a balanced diet—rich in phytoestrogens, omega-3, calcium, vitamin D, and other bioactive compounds—combined with healthy lifestyle habits, contributes to alleviating menopausal symptoms and preventing chronic diseases. Nutritional therapy, therefore, proves to be an effective and accessible strategy for improving the general health and well-being of women during the climacteric period. It is concluded that appropriate nutritional intervention not only promotes quality of life but may also play a fundamental role in public health by minimizing the adverse effects of this natural process.
