Abstract

In criminal law, when studying property crimes, fraud is a form of fraud, described as the practice of deceitful scams aimed at obtaining some advantage, whether material or pecuniary. It is worth noting that, considered a specific form, sentimental fraud has gradually increased with the use of the internet, which facilitates contact and interactions, exposing the scammer to the reality of potential victims being manipulated and harmed. This paper will address the understanding of the doctrine, the security of protective measures, as well as the main reasons why victims are harmed by manipulation, in addition to the significant psychological and financial consequences in their lives.
