INTEGRATION OF SCRATCH INTO THE PEDAGOGICAL PROPOSAL OF GENETICS

Due to the social distance caused by the pandemic, there have been many changes in the area of teaching in order to improve the distance learning experience for both students and teachers. One of these measures taken was the use of active methodologies, and among them, Gamification, which was used in this project. This research was carried out at Escola de Ensino Médio Integral Integrado à Educação Profissional Professora Izaura Antônia de Lisboa (EPIAL), located in Arapiraca-AL, with 3rd Year High School students, in order to promote autonomy, cooperation, understanding and put them in the center of the learning process. First the students participated in lectures, where animations made in Scratch were also presented, and after answering a questionnaire, we concluded that the active methodology facilitated the learning and understanding of the students.
