Abstract

This article presents the development of a low-cost automation system for controlling indoor air humidity, aiming to provide a healthier environment, especially for people with allergic rhinitis. The methodology employed involved applying knowledge in Arduino, research on the DHT sensor, simulator testing, prototype construction, and experimentation. Expected results included the ability to autonomously turn humidifiers or dehumidifiers on and off, maintaining humidity between 40% and 60%. The conclusion demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed solution, highlighting its accessibility and the potential of electronic prototyping to solve everyday problems in an innovative and cost-effective way.
