Abstract

This research has the general objective to analyze the possible efficiency of technology in interdisciplinary studies, and, mainly, to visualize the main barriers to the inclusion of digital tools in education. Methodologically, the research follows the bibliographic model, so that it sought to visualize how the doctrine deals with the promotion of technology in the context of interdisciplinary studies. It also has a qualitative basis, since it verifies the factual reality in a congruent way with the theoretical aspects brought by the bibliographical research. Thus, it is clear that technological advances are visible to the whole society, and the social sectors must adapt to such progress, with, however, some aspects that must be analyzed, mainly by public managers and pedagogical coordinators when including technology in the students' curriculum context. The main fact to be addressed is the income disparity among the Brazilian population, which causes several difficulties for financially hyposufficient students, since many do not have access to the internet or cell phones, computers, tablets, among others, and must, at the time of formulating public policies focused on this theme, such appreciation being duly evaluated and means created to remedy the predicted problems, mainly aiming at guaranteeing the isonomy enshrined in the Federal Constitution of 1988.
