The hip is an essential joint for locomotion and body stability, where the gluteus medius and minimus muscles play a fundamental role in pelvic stabilization. Tendinopathy of these muscles associated with trochanteric bursitis is a common condition in the elderly, characterized by pain, functional limitation and negative impact on quality of life. Methodology: The treatment included electrothermophototherapy, therapeutic strengthening and stretching exercises, manual therapy and functional reeducation. Materials and Methods: This case study describes the evaluation, physiotherapeutic intervention and evolution of a 70-year-old male patient diagnosed with gluteus medius and minimus tendinopathy associated with right trochanteric bursitis. Results: After six months, the patient showed significant improvement in symptoms, increased mobility and functionality, although he discontinued in-person treatment before discharge, being advised to continue at home. Conclusion: It is concluded that physiotherapy is effective in the conservative management of these pathologies, highlighting the importance of adherence to treatment to maintain results and prevent relapses.
