This study explored the integration of digital technologies in education, investigating the advantages, benefits, and risks of this transformation in teaching and learning. The main objective was to analyze the impact of digital education on the teaching-learning process, considering both its positive and negative implications. The research was conducted through a bibliographic review, focusing on relevant studies and publications on the use of technological tools such as gamification, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence in education. The study identified significant benefits, including personalized learning, increased student motivation, and expanded access to knowledge. However, challenges also emerged, such as unequal access to technology, the need for continuous teacher training, and the impact on students' mental health. The conclusions indicated that, while digital education presents great potential, further research is essential to assess its long-term effects and develop strategies to mitigate the identified risks. Studying ongoing are crucial to optimizing the use of technology in education, ensuring that its benefits are effectively and equitably leveraged.
