Abstract

This article analyzes the impacts of technology on education, especially in the context of the pandemic, highlighting the challenges and difficulties faced by teachers and students from the public education system in Santa Catarina. Through a qualitative research approach, testimonies were collected to reveal the necessary adaptations and the teaching skills required for a technology-mediated education. The study is based on the reflections of Manuel Castells, Pierre Lévy, and UNESCO documents, as well as other academic references that discuss the interaction between society, education, and technology.
