Abstract

This study investigated the curricular transformations in Distance Education (EAD) driven by digital technologies, with an emphasis on artificial intelligence, aiming to understand how these technologies contribute to the flexibility and personalization of educational content. The central research problem was: How do digital technologies, especially artificial intelligence, transform curricula in Distance Education, promoting the personalization of teaching? The general objective was to analyze how technological innovations have impacted the EAD curriculum, focusing on personalized learning. The methodology used was exclusively bibliographic, reviewing relevant articles, books, and academic materials on the subject. The development of the study addressed the impact of digital technologies on content adaptation, the use of active methodologies, and the importance of teacher training. The final considerations highlighted that technologies, especially artificial intelligence, have contributed to curriculum personalization and the creation of more flexible teaching, tailored to students' needs. Furthermore, the need for further research was pointed out to deepen the understanding of ethical implications and teacher training in this new educational context.
