This paper addresses the relationship between the Screenagers generation, characterized by the intensive use of screens and digital technologies, and the educational universe. The objective of this bibliographic research was to analyze the possibilities and impacts of this relationship, as well as to identify the challenges faced by teachers and schools when dealing with this generation. To this end, a search was conducted in academic databases, including Google Scholar, Scopus and ERIC, using keywords such as “Screenagers”, “digital generation” and “digital education”. Based on the analysis of studies by renowned authors, such as Marc Prensky, danah boyd, Sonia Livingstone, Larry Rosen and Neil Selwyn, the challenges faced by educators were identified, such as adapting teaching methods, integrating digital technologies into the curriculum, managing screen time, promoting critical thinking skills and educating for the safe and responsible use of technologies. These challenges require adequate teacher training. Therefore, this study contributes to the understanding of the relationship between the Screenagers generation and education, providing relevant insights for teachers, educational managers and researchers interested in this field.
