This paper analyzes the importance of Law nº 13,431 (Protected Listening Law), dated April 4, 2017, in the protection of children and adolescents who are victims of sexual violence, emphasizing the challenges of its implementation in the interior regions of Amazonas State. Protected listening is treated as a fundamental right aimed at preventing institutional re-victimization and promoting humane care. It presents the legal foundations of comprehensive protection and the provisions regulating specialized listening. Based on a bibliographic and documentary review, obstacles to the effectiveness of the law are identified, such as lack of infrastructure, shortage of qualified professionals, and weaknesses in the protection network. Strategies are also proposed to overcome these challenges, including ongoing training, the use of digital technologies, mobile units, and strengthening intersectoral public policies. The study concludes that protected listening is essential to ensure dignity, safety, and justice for children and adolescents experiencing violence.
