We are experiencing a period of intense changes in behavior and lifestyle habits. The changes brought about by modern lifestyle, combined with risk behaviors, have negatively impacted oral health. In the last two decades, there has been an increase in cases of premature oral aging syndrome (PEOS) among young people, resulting in pulp alterations, such as premature calcifications. In view of this, this research aims to address “how can lifestyle impact premature pulp aging, causing the pulp of young patients to age before its chronological ageing period?” General objective: The aim is to analyze how bad habits and risk behaviors can accelerate pulp aging, causing premature calcifications and clinical signs of non-carious diseases to be observed earlier and earlier in young patients. Specific objectives: Include contextualizing the main characteristics of pulp formation. Understanding the mechanism of calcification. Analyzing the different lifestyles and PEOS. Methodology: The literature review was conducted by searching books and the SciELO, PubMed, and REVodonto databases, using the following keywords: "premature aging", "pulp", "pulp calcification" and "disposition of mineralized tissue". Expected results: Dentists are expected to be aware of calcifications and alert to signs of aging, to raise awareness of these impacts in society and to seek strategies to promote better oral health, minimizing future problems affecting the pulp.
