The study of “Forms and management of how to conduct an Oral-sinus Communication” is an extremely relevant topic, since it is a routine complication in the daily dental clinical routine, where, after the extraction of posterior elements, a direct communication occurs between the oral cavity and the maxillary sinus present in the face, consequently causing sequelae such as postoperative sinusitis or formation of chronic fistula. Therefore, “how to plan extractions of posterior upper elements to prevent communication and, if it occurs, how to identify, diagnose and treat an Oral-sinus Communication?” In view of the question, this research has the general objective of: analyzing when it is necessary to intervene and what are the main forms of repair of such a complication, and has the specific objective of: studying the variations of communication, assessing whether there is a need to perform a repair, highlighting the forms of diagnosis and what types of repairs the Dental Surgeon-C.D. can use. Methodology: a literature review was conducted using SciElo, PubMed, UNESP, Google Scholar, RevOdonto and some bibliographies in order to gather the main forms of intervention. Given the above and considering that Oral Sinus Communication is an intercurrence, the result obtained from this research was the compilation of information capable of enabling the Dentist to certify, visualize, diagnose, treat or, if necessary, refer such a situation.
