Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin condition with various clinical manifestations that can significantly impact patients’ quality of life. Multiple factors contribute to its pathogenesis, including genetic predisposition, immune alterations, environmental triggers, and, more recently, dietary influences. This study aimed to analyze the role of diet in both the exacerbation and management of rosacea, with a focus on nutrients such as omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, probiotics, and bioactive compounds. The methodology consisted of a literature review of national and international scientific publications indexed in databases such as PubMed, Scielo, and ScienceDirect. The findings highlighted that dietary patterns rich in whole foods, fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats—particularly omega-3 fatty acids—demonstrate protective effects against cutaneous inflammation. Additionally, a strong link between gut health and skin conditions was observed, suggesting that microbiota modulation may serve as a promising therapeutic approach. Furthermore, natural substances such as honey have shown potential as adjunctive treatments for rosacea due to their anti-inflammatory and healing properties. It is concluded that nutrition plays a critical role in rosacea management, and the integration of dermatology and nutrition is essential to develop personalized therapeutic strategies.
