This article aims to evaluate the implementation of Law No. 15.100/25, which regulates the use of personal portable electronic devices by students in basic education schools in Brazil, with a focus on institutions within the Regional Education Office of Ponta Grossa, Paraná. Enacted in 2025, the legislation seeks to promote a school environment more conducive to learning, with greater discipline and improved academic performance. To achieve this objective, a structured questionnaire was distributed to 112 schools in the region, with 87 valid responses obtained. The instrument addressed topics such as awareness and perception of the law, the main challenges to its enforcement, the role of the school community, and the contribution of the Military Police—especially the School Patrol—in raising awareness and monitoring compliance. The results indicate that, although most schools acknowledge the importance of the law, significant obstacles to its effective implementation remain, including student resistance, the absence of specific sanctions, and enforcement difficulties. The study also highlights the need for greater family engagement and stronger partnerships with public security agencies. It concludes that Law No. 15.100/25 represents progress in regulating school dynamics; however, its effectiveness depends on integrated actions, continuous training, and ongoing dialogue between schools, families, and the State.
