The aim of this study was to analyze the origin and period of highest frequency of goals in matches of the 2024 Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan. The research is characterized by a quantitative, descriptive and observational study. The sample consisted of 24 teams that competed in the Futsal World Cup in 2024. 52 games from the group and knockout stages of the competition were analyzed. To analyze the origin of the goals, a classification with different offensive tactical contexts of the teams was used and to analyze the frequency of occurrence of goals, the total game time was divided into four periods of 10 minutes. The results showed that positional attack had the highest incidence in the origin of goals throughout the competition, with 27.1%, totaling 98 goals in 52 games analyzed. Looking at the results in more detail, it can also be seen that if positional attacks and counterattacks are combined with individual plays, a total of 69.4% of the goals in the competition will be obtained. As for frequency, the results showed that the highest number of goals occurred in the 4th period (30 minutes and 1 second to 40 minutes). This study concluded that the highest incidence of goals is in the second half of the game. It is hoped that the results found can contribute to the technical committees and athletes in their performance during training and games, and that other studies will be carried out in futsal competitions of different categories and types, thus contributing with more information on how goals occur and at what moments in futsal games they occur.
