In view of the challenges faced by society in carrying out acts of civil life, especially those related to the records issued by extrajudicial notary offices, and considering technological advances, the proposal for the creation of an Integrated Public Records System (SIRP) emerged as a means to modernize, simplify, and streamline these procedures. This study aims to analyze the issues surrounding the SIRP, examining its legal, operational, and structural implications, as well as identifying the main challenges encountered in the process of its implementation. The research was developed through bibliographic and documental review, based on current legislation, using the deductive method, starting from the normative framework to understand the practical and theoretical challenges of applying the system. The analysis showed that, once implemented, the SIRP will represent a significant step forward in the modernization of registry services, providing greater speed, legal security, and cost-effectiveness. However, several obstacles were identified, including technological disparity between notary offices, lack of infrastructure in certain regions, resistance from some professionals, and the need for normative improvements. It is concluded that the success of the SIRP depends on overcoming technical and legal challenges, on the coordinated action of the actors involved, and on the continuous qualification of legal professionals, making it essential to promote a critical and proactive approach to this new digital registry paradigm.
