Abstract

This article presents a detailed analysis of the project "Acolhendo Quem Cuida," developed in Juazeiro do Norte, CE, aiming to create a space for listening, welcoming, and assisting caregivers of children with disabilities within the school environment. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4, which emphasizes equitable access to quality education, the initiative involves formative meetings, dialogue circles, reflective dynamics, and support from specialized professionals. It targets caregivers’ well-being, strengthening the social-affective network among school, family, and community, and implementing inclusive practices in school routines. This article discusses the project's theoretical framework, analyzes key results from its initial phases, and proposes suggestions for its continuation and expansion.
