THE EFFECTIVENESS OF LAW NO. 13,465/2017 IN LAND REGULARIZATION AND THE CHALLENGES OF IMPLEMENTATION TO GUARANTEE RIGHTS TO LOW-INCOME MUNICIPALITIES IN PRESIDENTE FIGUEIREDO/AM

Abstract

This study addresses Law No. 13,465/2017 and its application in land regularization in the municipality of Presidente Figueiredo, Amazonas, with a focus on the low-income population. The research highlights the importance of REURB-S (Social Interest Land Regularization) as an instrument to guarantee legal security of land tenure and promote social inclusion. The problem of the lack of land regularization and its negative impacts on the quality of life of residents is analyzed, as well as strategies to minimize these effects. The central hypothesis suggests that the efficient application of public policies, combined with popular participation and effective communication, can strengthen the population's confidence in the process and boost the social and economic development of the community.
